How to make herbal tea

Whether you’ve purchased loose leaf tea from us or not, if it’s not individually packaged in its own casings, the applications are still the same.

Reasons I choose to package your tea in one bag as a whole and not individual bags:

For me, part of choosing this organic more simplistic lifestyle is respecting mother nature and being a good steward of the earth. I want to minimize waste as much as possible, and keeping unnecessary trash out of the landfill is important to me.

Many mass produced bags go through a bleaching process (like coffee filters) and we certainly don’t want that in our medicine.

It is more cost effective and eco-friendly.

Supplies Needed:

You don’t necessarily need a tea pot specifically for herbal tea. The old pioneer way was to steep the herb in a pot on the stove top. However if you have a desire for a teapot I have a favorite I use that’s actually a french press I’ll link here. This is the exact one I have and it is my favorite for convience. But feel free to use what you have around the kitchen!

1. Pot/French Press/Tea Pot

2. Filtered Water

3. Herb

Directions:

Are you ready for how easy this is?

Per the directions, bring one cup of water to a boil. Turn off.

Scoop out one teaspoon of herb and place in the water to steep, covered for x amount of minutes.

Strain.

Feel free to add honey, maple syrup or whatever your hearts desire to your tea. I typically will just drink plain!
