Who are we?

hello. my name is ‘mama’.. but most call me ‘nikki’. I am a homeschooling herbalist mama of three! It’s been my instinctual calling to raise up mentally, emotionally and physically healthy children and to provide them with skillsets that will take them beyond what a paycheck will. i aspire to teach them how to live in alignment with nature and the ways of our ancestors. it’s only been in the last hundred years or so, when allopathic medicine became a thing, and it’s been maybe only a generation ago, when the industrial revolution took our mothers out of the home, enticing us with more, but somehow left us feeling empty, lost and depleted. trading our precious time for money, that we use to pay for someone else’s skills. keeping us distracted from our most important work. creating more debt than ever before, more substance abuse, divorce rates, more health problems, fatigue and burnout!

I myself went through my own burnout of lessons that taught me through watching my own children get sick after routine “well visits” with their pediatrician and my own journey with breast implants, i was sick and tired of being sick and tired. i finally started putting in hours of research, and connecting dots that would change my life forever.

the journey has been anything but easy. But i wouldn’t trade it for all the money in the world, because we are healthier, stronger and wiser because of what it’s taught and teaching us. we are students of life and want to be good stewards of the earth.

i aspire to empower other mamas to reclaim their innate wisdom they were born with that society has long suppressed. we as women are healers, nurturers, life givers and sustainers, story tellers, teachers, mediators, and a never ending list for our children.

c.w. lewis says, “the homemaker has the ultimate career. all other careers exist for one purpose only-and that is to support the ultimate career.” motherhood is indeed, my ministry.
