Event Description
Join us on **August 8 from 10:00 AM–12:00 PM at the farm** for a hands-on herbal class created for women, mothers, caregivers, and burned-out women who are ready to slow down, feel supported, and learn gentle ways to nourish the nervous system.
This class is for the woman who carries a lot. The mother who is always needed. The caregiver who rarely gets to fully rest. The woman rebuilding, recovering, pouring out, or simply longing to feel more grounded in her own body again.
During this two-hour workshop, we will explore herbs traditionally used to support the nervous system, emotional balance, rest, and resilience. We will talk about the difference between **daily nourishing support** and **acute support** for moments of stress, overwhelm, tension, or emotional depletion.
Together, we will learn about herbs such as:
Lemon balm
Chamomile
Passionflower
Oatstraw
Milky oats
Skullcap
Tulsi
Adaptogens and their cautions
We will also discuss how to choose herbs based on the season of life you are in, why “calming” herbs are not all the same, and how to work with these plants safely and intentionally.
This will be a hands-on class with time for learning, discussion, and making. Each participant will create a simple restorative herbal preparation to take home, such as a **calming tea blend** or **herbal bath soak**, along with practical guidance for how to use it.
You will leave with a deeper understanding of nervous system support, a handmade herbal preparation, and simple tools you can begin weaving into your daily rhythm of care.
**What to bring:**
Please bring a notebook and pen for taking notes, a water bottle, and anything you may need to feel comfortable outdoors or in a relaxed farm setting. You may also want to bring a small basket or bag to carry home your herbal creation.
No prior herbal experience is required. This class is beginner-friendly and rooted in simple, practical, traditional herbal care for everyday women and real-life seasons of exhaustion, stress, and restoration.
